Your itinerary
Meet your Kili 2 Safaris representative at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to a peaceful lodge in Arusha. Settle in, relax and meet your guide for a private safari briefing.
Drive through the Maasai steppe to Tarangire, known for ancient baobabs, large elephant herds and excellent dry-season wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before reaching camp.
Explore river valleys and woodland at your own pace. Optional walking experiences may be arranged depending on camp and season.
Travel through farming villages toward the highlands, stopping for a local cultural experience or scenic walk before reaching your lodge near the crater rim.
Descend early into the caldera for a full game drive. The crater supports a remarkable density of wildlife, including lion, buffalo, hippo and, with luck, black rhino.
Continue onto the Serengeti plains for two days of private game viewing. Your guide adapts each day around wildlife movements and your interests.
Enjoy a final morning in the bush, then fly back to Arusha for your onward connection or Zanzibar extension.
